It’s all in the name of a bit of fun and healthy competition. Matches at Hunters are usually well attended affairs, so members watch this page for Match dates and contact Stu Drabble, our Match Secretary via the usual channels should you wish to take part.

Thales Match
Draw 8am, fish 9am – 3pm
This match is ONLY for Thales employees and their guests, Hunters Pool will be closed the Friday prior to the match and the Saturday of the match for to all members.
Windmill Angling Club Cup
Draw 9am, fish 10am – 2pm
This match is open to all Windmill Angling members that have registered via Stuart Drabble, our Match Secretary, and paid their £10 match fee. Please note: Hunters Pool will be closed the Saturday preceding to the match to all members and the Sunday of the match for members not fishing this competition.
Serpentine Canal, Gawsworth Fisheries
Draw 9am, fish 10am – 3pm
This match is open to all Windmill Angling members that have registered via Stuart Drabble and paid their £10 match fee. Please note: as this match is at Gawsworth Fisheries, Hunters Pool will be open throughout the match.

The Peter Edge Celebration Cup
Draw 9am, fish 10am – 3pm
This match is open to all Windmill Angling members that have registered via our WhatsApp Group and paid their £10 Entrance Fee into the club’s bank account. Please note: Hunters Pool will be closed the Saturday preceding to the match to all members and the Sunday of the match for members not fishing this competition.
Windmill Juniors
Draw: 9.30am, Fish 10.30 am – 2.00pm.
This match is open to all Windmill Angling members children/grandchildren, but, please note: they need to join the club to participate. Please note that Hunters Pool will be closed for fishing Saturday 6th September to all members and Sunday 7th September for members/members children not fishing this match. However, family members/guests are welcome to come along, preferably towards the end of the match for the Weigh-in.
Sutton Reservoir Challenge Match
Draw 8.30am, fish 10am – 4pm
This match is open to the first 10 Windmill Angling members that have registered via Stuart Drabble, our Match Secretary, and paid their match fee. Please note: Hunters Pool will be OPEN as this competition is at Sutton Reservoir.
